We are encouraging our students to develop their character through giving as we raise money to support Make-A-Wish Foundation & send Cara to Disney World. Mission StatementThe mission of Oakbrook Middle School's Guidance & Counseling Department is to provide services that meet the changing needs of our student population and to encourage our students to become respectful, productive, life-learners within a global society.
Scope of PracticeThe scope of practice within which School Counselors should be working is considered when weighing counseling requests, and Oakbrook Middle School Guidance Copunselors are happy to provide referral information when it is needed. Children are seen mostly in classrooms and small groups. We encourage students and parents to make appointments for individual or family sessions. The Guidance Secretary, Mrs. Payseur, would be happy to help you sign-in or make an appointment.
